WillGoal (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Mariana Turianytsia, an individual developer. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the WillGoal mobile and web application (the “App”).

This policy applies to WillGoal on Android, iOS, and web.

Summary

• WillGoal helps you track goals, tasks, time logs, habits, and reflections.
• Most of your data stays on your device. We do not provide WillGoal accounts and we do not store your goal content on our servers.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• If you email us, purchase a subscription, or use backup/share, some information is handled as described below.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you enter in the App (stored on your device)

When you use WillGoal, you may create or save data such as:

• Goal titles, life areas, deadlines, and progress
• Tasks, habits, schedules, and check-in history
• Time logs (duration, notes, dates)
• Compass / reflection answers
• Mindset favorites and playlists
• App settings (language, theme, font size, week start)
• Local trial, free-tier, and subscription status flags

This information is stored locally on your device. We do not receive it on our servers unless you choose to send it to us (for example by email).

1.2 Information collected automatically

The App may store small amounts of data on your device for technical purposes, such as whether onboarding is complete or whether a trial reminder banner was dismissed.

We do not currently use third-party analytics in the App. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy.

1.3 Information we do not collect by default

We do not require a WillGoal account. We do not intentionally collect:

• Your name, email, or phone number through normal App use
• Precise location
• Contacts, photos, or microphone recordings (except as your device OS may require for features you start)

2. How we use information

We use on-device data to:

• Provide App features (goals, calendar, timeline, habits, focus, compass, mindsets)
• Apply your settings
• Manage free trial, free tier, and (when enabled) paid access
• Schedule local notifications if you allow them (for example, trial ending reminders)
• Enable backup and restore when you use those features

We use information you email us only to respond and improve support.

3. Local storage, backup, and restore

Local storage: Your data remains on your device unless you delete it, restore a backup, or uninstall the App.

Backup: You can export a JSON backup from Settings. You control where that file is saved or shared. Anyone with the file can read it — keep it private.

Restore: Restoring a backup replaces your current on-device App data.

Uninstall: Removing the App generally deletes local data from your device (depending on your operating system).

4. Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App may show local reminders (for example, about your free trial ending). You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

5. In-app purchases and subscriptions

WillGoal may offer paid plans through Google Play and/or the Apple App Store.

When you purchase or restore a subscription:

• Payment is processed by Google or Apple. We do not receive your full payment card number.
• We use RevenueCat to verify purchase status and unlock Pro features. That service may receive purchase-related identifiers and subscription status.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play or Apple account settings.

6. Email and contact

If you contact us — including from Settings → Contact or Mindsets → Request a Mindset — your email app sends a message to support@willgoal.com. We receive:

• Your email address
• The subject line and body you write
• Any information you choose to include

We use this only to respond and improve WillGoal. We do not use the Mindset request feature to collect data inside the App itself; it opens your email client.

7. Other third-party services

We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing personal information with them.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Because most WillGoal data is on your device, you can often delete it in the App, via backup/restore, or by uninstalling the App.

For data we hold (such as support emails), contact support@willgoal.com.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also contact your local data protection authority.

California: We do not sell personal information. California residents may request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about them (typically limited to support correspondence).

9. Children’s privacy

WillGoal is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us with personal information, email support@willgoal.com and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Data retention

• On-device data: Until you change, delete, or uninstall the App
• Support emails: As long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable business purposes
• Purchase records: Retained by Google, Apple, and our subscription processor per their policies

11. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information we handle. No method is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device and any backup files you create.

12. International transfers

If we or our service providers process data outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required by law.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version at https://willgoal.com/privacy and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be noted in the App where appropriate.
